Gluing in the neck and tail blocks

Gluing in the neck and tail blocks—the sides are placed in the forms to dry another 24 hours or so. Although the sides usually fit the form very well, I like to use these oversized spring clamps to make sure the fit is perfect.

The mahogany neck and tail blocks are glued in with an assortment of F-clamps, spring clamps, and waxed paper (to keep the form from becoming a permanent part of your guitar). Cutaway neck blocks are especially fun because I epoxy them. Epoxy tends to drip and it really wants to bond the guitar to the form.
